BREAKING NEWS: Breeze adding nonstop Key West to Raleigh-Durham Service
Key West residents will have another option to get off the rock beginning Oct. 3

Breeze Airways is adding two new destinations from Raleigh-Durham International Airport, officials announced Wednesday.
Customers are now able to book nonstop RDU-Key West flights with service beginning Oct. 3
The service will compliment Key West’s new multi-million dollar glass concourse which just started operation.
“After adding an astounding 29 new cities and 88 routes to our network last year and announcing seven new cities and 40 routes so far this year,” said Breeze founder and CEO David Newman. “Breeze is quickly becoming the fastest growing airline in the industry.”
Breeze uses a point-to-point operating model that aims to operate nonstop flights between smaller markets that do not otherwise have direct air connectivity. The airline began in 2021 by operating short flights of less than two hours with a fleet of Embraer jets leased from Azul, before building a fleet of brand-new Airbus A220 jets.
All Key West service will be aboard Breeze's fleet of Airbus A220-300 jets, which feature Wi-Fi along with the airline's "Ascent" first-class seating.
The company has expanded rapidly since its launch. In 2024 alone, Breeze added 29 cities and 88 routes.
Travelers can now book flights to Orlando and Tampa with service beginning June 12, or RDU service beginning Oct.3.
